Daniel Großenbach is a researcher at the Institute for Internet Security of the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. His research interests include computer security, malware analysis and in particular the analysis of attacks on IoT devices, as well as the broader field of reverse engineering.

As a research member of the KISSHOME project, Daniel is working on developing a setup to capture and investigate malicious network traffic. To reach this goal, Daniel is doing research on emulating various processor architectures as well as setting up environments which can execute various types of IoT malware.
